Mirame Digital partnered with Norman's Florida Kitchen to develop a brand identity befitting a name that carries genuine culinary legacy. Norman's isn't an ordinary restaurant brand. It's a name with decades of craft, authorship, and cultural footprint behind it. The work was about continuity, not reinvention: building a visual system that honours that history while presenting it with the clarity a modern audience expects.

Problem: A Name With Legacy and an Identity That Hadn't Caught Up
Norman's carried real weight, but the brand expression wasn't doing justice to the reputation behind it. A name that commands respect in culinary circles deserved a visual identity with the same authority: considered, assured, and free from the noise that cheapens a legacy. The challenge was creating something that felt lived-in and earned rather than designed to look historic.

Solution: Editorial Restraint in Service of a Chef's Legacy
We built a darker, quieter visual world: relaxed, assured, and deliberately restrained, with typographic authority that suits a chef whose reputation doesn't need volume. A literary serif carries the storytelling while a clean sans serif keeps menus and digital applications contemporary and readable. The system is paced like an editorial, with space, hierarchy, and texture doing as much as the visuals. Heritage is present in the tone rather than forced through nostalgia, and the result feels exactly as considered as the food it represents.
